Welcome Norwin Area Republicans!

Our organization is dedicated to preserving and improving our parks, schools, infrastructure, and quality of life for all of our residents.

We work to elect Republican leaders who share our values and champion policies that uplift working families, protect the environment, defend voting rights for American citizens and legal residents, and ensure justice and opportunity for all, by adhering to the rule of law.

Through outreach, education and civic engagement, we empower citizens, strengthening our Representative Republic, right here in North Huntingdon, Irwin, and North Irwin, in cooperation with our friends in surrounding communities, throughout Westmoreland County.

Election buzz

Senator John Fetterman may be a Democrat, but he has also been one of the most vocal critics of the Democrat Socialists of America (DSA).

Fetterman called out the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) for being “deeply anti-American” and for wanting to “impoverish middle class” white people.

"Like, the DSA, they’re deeply anti-American,” Fetterman said. “They’re deeply anti-capitalism. They’re deeply anti-the American way of life.”

“They want to impoverish middle class whites, and seize all the production,” Fetterman continued. “I would think every single Democrat should condemn the DSA. This is not like a big tent situation, they should have their own entire party, and run alone as the kinds of communists, and socialists, and anti-American party that they are.”

Thanks John; we couldn't have said it better.

What does the "new and improved" Democrat party stand for?

Free healthcare; housing for all; closing jails; abolishing borders; increasing the Supreme Court to 30 members to guarantee socialist control of courts; abortion up through birth; feminism and destruction of white male toxicity (Lindsay Clancy supporters) .

Who pays? You do. Governments only print and spend money. Taxpayers shoulder the burden of everything politicians tout as being "free."

Guaranteed free universal healthcare, including complete access to abortion and trans-gender care (surgeons cutting off children's healthy body parts) and (giving children life-altering hormones). Ask Lindsay Clancy's children about hormone changes... Actually, you can't. She killed them. Several transgender mass shooters have also murdered children. Employing facts vs. emotions is just a part of what separates Republicans from our Democrat opponents.

DSA candidates also want to "enact aggressive wealth taxes on the richest individuals and corporations to spend on public goods and infrastructure."

In America, we call that theft. Work hard, reap the benefits. Take away incentive and watch businesses move offshore. Create incentive and watch them create jobs. This is basic economics, but no one ever accused Dems of possessing financial literacy.

Dem candidates also continue to promote the Green New Scam. In the 70's it was about "global cooling" and then it was "global warming" and then it was "climate change." Nobody moves the goal posts like the disingenuous dems.

Changing language and meaning is part of the agenda. George Orwell's 1984 and Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 have served as blueprints for these budding communists, disguised as socialists, disguised as democrats.

(Fahrenheit 451 is a 1953 dystopian novel by Ray Bradbury that explores themes of censorship, media saturation, and the suppression of intellectual freedom. The story follows Guy Montag, a fireman in a future society where books are banned and his job is to burn them rather than extinguish fires. The title refers to the temperature at which book paper ignites.)

(1984 is the story of Winston Smith, who rewrites Times editorials at the Ministry of Truth to suit the Party’s version of events. 1984 introduced ‘Big Brother’, ‘thought police’, ‘Room 101’, ‘doublethink’ and ‘newspeak’ to the English language. A satire on totalitarianism, 1984 is a testament to the potential power of modern political systems, and the dark side of human nature. As O’Brien tells Winston, ‘the object of power is power’.)

Building new, publicly-owned social housing, strictly regulate investment property, establish universal rent control. Ask the Soviets how all of that turned out. It's been tried. It's failed. When you remove profit and individual motivation, social malaise and a black market always prevail.

Do you think the DSA politicians will be living in public housing? Follow the personal incomes of Chris Rabb (PA), AOC (NY Senator), Zohran Mamadani (NYC Mayor), Claire Valdez (NY), Abdul El-Sayed (MI), Donavan McKinney (MI), Rashida Tlaib (MI), Cori Bush (MO), Melat Kiros (CO), Angie Nixon (FL), and the other 282 identified DSA-endorsed candidates in the 2026 cycle.

  • 2026 is where we MUST (peacefully and non-violently) kick these communists to the curb. Their agenda is guaranteed to appeal to anyone addicted to the liberal cesspools of Reddit, TikTok, and Facebook, with the equivalent of a 5th grade public education.

    • You have no debt. You don’t need health insurance. You don’t pay a mortgage or have a landlord, because comfortable housing is a human right. Your retirement is publicly funded. Food, education, energy, medicine, and transportation aren’t for-profit businesses; they are common goods and utilities.

    • More simply: Just declare everything a "right" then find someone else to pay for it.

WHO ARE YOUR REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES?

Heading into the 2026 fall election, the Westmoreland County Republican Committee (District 3):

(Steve Cleaveland, Lynda Funk, Ron Zona, and Antonio Lio... and the membership)

Working for you, organizing election events and fundraisers.

Senator Kim Ward secured grant funding for new police vehicles in North Huntingdon Township.

Representative Brian Rasel, running for reelection and currently leading the 56th legislative district.

Representative Eric Davanzo, running for reelection in the 58th legislative district.

Decorated combat veteran and Treasurer, Stacy Garrity is the endorsed candidate for Governor. Thirty years in the Army Reserve. Bronze Stars. Legion of Merit. Decades of business leadership. Retired U.S. Army Reserve Colonel, businesswoman, and our Commonwealth’s 78th Treasurer, Stacy Garrity has lived a life of service to her nation, her Commonwealth, and her community.

Allegheny County GOP Chairman Jason Richey has been endorsed for Lieutenant Governor. Jason Richey (watch this video) was at the LARIMER Volunteer Fire Department on February 25th. Jason was warmly greeted by friends and supporters.

James Hayes running for Congress to challenge the harmful, creeping socialism that threatens to overturn the rule of law and the American way of life we enjoy in Westmoreland County. In our gerrymandered district, James has an uphill battle as he fights against the "former" vocal Democrat Socialist Summer Lee, and he needs your support! Please note: modern Dems are often literally wolves in sheep's clothing as they change allegiances and party affiliations as often as Joe Biden's staff used the presidential autopen to pardon his friends, relatives, and partners in crime. Isn't that right Hunter?

You can support James by sending checks to:

James Hayes for Congress at PO BOX 110157, Pittsburgh, PA 15232.

Here in the 39th district, we're very fortunate to have a true fighter, Senator Kim Ward.

Magistrate Henry Moore is located in North Huntingdon.

Tax Collector Dorothy Dombrowski has an office in the North Huntingdon Townhouse which is staffed and open Monday through Thursday and also by appointment when necessary.
