PA Treasurer and PAGOP endorsed candidate for Governor, Stacy Garrity will be our Keynote Speaker. Westmoreland County native and Founder of the Lincoln Institute Lowman Henry will be our Master of Ceremonies and Guest Speaker. On March 31st, D3 Members and Invited Guests Welcomed Senator Kim Ward

In 2025, our Republican Leadership, Senator Kim Ward and Representative Brian Rasel, worked together to bring in vital grant dollars for our district and adjacent townships.

• Irwin Borough, $151,512 to rehabilitate the Fourth Street parking lot.
• City of Jeannette, $484,697 to purchase a new dump truck.
• North Huntingdon Township, $650,000 to replace the Woodside Drive Pump Station.
• North Irwin Borough, $128,199 for a new public works vehicle.
• Penn Township, $593,867 for much-needed HVAC repairs at the municipal and library building, and to repave various areas within Municipal Park.
• Trafford Borough, $330,169 to purchase a new street sweeper.

MORE EVENTS AND ACTION ITEMS:

Weekly PULSAR TRAININGS are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. until May 14, which is the Thursday before the primary election on May 19, 2026.

Westmoreland County Republican Committee Meetings for District 3 (Irwin, North Irwin and North Huntingdon) are at 6:30 PM on the last Tuesday of every month except April, May, November, and December, at the Larimer VFD.

Westmoreland County Young Republicans:

(Republicans under 40) met for a Kick-Off Social on March 21st, 2026, at 814 Lanes and Games in Greensburg. The venue includes food and drinks, bowling, axe throwing, darts, laser tag, an escape room, and a 65 game arcade. Contact Tyler Baum @ 724-600-7316 for information on the next planned event.
